About the project
We are a dedicated team of three enthusiastic students—Žan, Marko, and Sebastijan—and our mentor Erik. Our mission is to advance the research on identifying dogs from videos. We believe that this technology has tremendous potential for innovations in reuniting lost dogs with their families and enhancing pet safety.
We need your help
Developing this technology relies heavily on large and diverse video datasets, which, unfortunately, are not readily available. That's why we are turning to you, our fellow dog owners, for help. If you can contribute a few videos of your dog, you will bring us one step closer to making a difference! We will compile all submissions into a comprehensive dataset and share it with the world to help drive the development of dog re-identification technology.

Here is how Harley is contributing
This is Harley. Harley is a 9-year-old Beagle (95% Beagle, 5% moocher, to be precise). When she's not eating or sleeping, she enjoys long walks in nature and chasing squirrels. While she takes a principled stand against doing anything for free, she will luckily agree to anything in exchange for some snacks. By sharing everyday and diverse videos like these, you can help us build a comprehensive dataset for dog re-identification.
